I would love to discuss assessment and testing with you some time.  I believe that relying less on the printed page and more on student &quot;performances&quot; we can really get to know more.  Music, Athletics and the military all have used these models successfully for a long time.  In our efforts to make testing fast and cheap we have eliminated most of the value for teachers -- and all of the value for students.</description>
